This advanced-level class is designed for high school performers who are ready to elevate their musical theater performance skills. Emphasis will be placed on vocal expression, physicality, and the integration of acting techniques with musical phrasing to create a seamless, dynamic performance. Registered students must come to class prepared with a musical theater song of their choice, which they will work on individually and collaboratively. Through personalized coaching, group discussions, and practical exercises, they will learn how to interpret lyrics, build character backstories, and use their voices and bodies to communicate a clear emotional arc. By the end of the class, students will have a more polished, emotionally resonant performance and a deeper understanding of how to bring a song to life on stage. This class is recommended for students who have significant experience on stage.

*Priority given to students who did not enroll in the 2025 class, but can be added to a waitlist.
