The Stage Manager is the backbone of any Academy Theatre production!

 

A Stage Manager attends all blocking rehearsals, and assists the director in managing a list of needed props, set pieces, and costumes.

They have a handle on the production as a whole throughout the rehearsal process.

Once a production opens, the stage manager is in charge of all operations backstage, and stays in close communication with the front of house team. 

They liaise and communicate with the full company and organize each team to ensure the smooth running of a production.
