First Lesson: Work Hard Now, Play Later!!
We have about 2 months to prepare for our production. As long as everyone works as a team and puts forth 100% -- then performing will be fun and worry-free!! If we don't do what we need to do to prepare, performing CAN be stressful. Let's focus on the goal of an incredible show -- it's tough work, but it's completely worth it!!!!!!
First Mission (2 parts):
Part 1: To accept your role in this cast, please email me at htelacdirector@gmail.com. This will be a major source of communication throughout this adventure!!!
Part 2: I have already started creating our schedule, which you will receive COMPLETED IN FULL before we begin rehearsals. I will be using the conflicts you listed on your audition form. If you have any additional conflicts they must be emailed to me by 6pm on May 8th, I will not accept any conflicts after this time. Please make sure that I have ALL your conflicts from May 15-July 28. Being upfront & thorough now allows me to put together the best possible schedule for us and the show. We can't have any surprises down the road!!!!!
Again, thank you to everyone who made all 3 days of these auditions possible! It's absolutely inspiring to see the amount of support for the Academy Theatre, and most importantly, the artistic education of our youth!!!!
